Ed was awesome to deal with! The kayaks, paddles, and life jackets are very clean and in excellent condition.
His prices were very reasonable and his communication was exemplary.
He has a nice little store right at his home with not only kayaks, but paddles boards as well.

Planned a last minute surprise date for my bf, sent off an email contacting Ed and got a phone call less than five minutes later! Booked for the following day and he was on time and super helpful, life jackets & water proof phone bags were offered as well as a dry bag. Super convenient! I’ve rented both kayaks and paddle boards from Ed’s and it’s been an awesome experience everytime! Awesome rental experience, we had lots of fun with the SUP and tandem kayaks.
On time with the rental and excellent communication - we had to delay our rental by a day due to bad wildfire smoke but Ed was super accommodating.

Children who are under the age of 4 must sit in the same kayak as their parents. If you need a life jacket for a child who is under 4 years old, the rental rate is $3.

Weight Restrictions

  • Kids kayak max. capacity 45kg / 100 lb. from around 4 years to 10 years.
  • Adult kayak max. capacity 136kg / 300 lb.
  • Double kayak max. capacity 250kg / 550 lb.
  • Paddleboard max. capacity 127 kg / 280 lb.

Important Information

  • Cash, e-transfer, or debit is an extra 1% fee (debit out-of-country 3% fees), or any credit card is an extra 3% fee due to credit card processing.

  • Please note that a damage fee will be charged if the kayak/SUP is damaged.

  • If you cancel your booking within 48 hours, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged, unless the cancellation is due to unsafe weather conditions.

  • All prices displayed include applicable taxes.
