His prices were very reasonable and his communication was exemplary. He has a nice little store right at his home with not only kayaks, but paddles boards as well. Planned a last minute surprise date for my bf, sent off an email contacting Ed and got a phone call less than five minutes later! Booked for the following day and he was on time and super helpful, life jackets & water proof phone bags were offered as well as a dry bag. Super convenient! On time with the rental and excellent communication - we had to delay our rental by a day due to bad wildfire smoke but Ed was super accommodating. Thanks again!

Children who are under the age of 4 must sit in the same kayak as their parents. If you need a life jacket for a child who is under 4 years old, the rental rate is $3.

Rental service is available from April 1st to October 31st.

Weight Restrictions

Kids kayak max. capacity 45kg / 100 lb. from around 4 years to 10 years.
Adult kayak max. capacity 136kg / 300 lb.
Double kayak max. capacity 250kg / 550 lb.
Paddleboard max. capacity 140kg / 310 lb.

Important Information

Payment options:
- Cash
- E-transfer
- Debit: 1% processing fee
- Canadian credit card: 3% processing fee
- Out-of-country credit card: 4% processing fee
Please note that a damage fee will be charged if the kayak/SUP is damaged.
If you cancel your booking within 48 hours, a $50 cancellation fee will be charged, unless the cancellation is due to unsafe weather conditions.
All prices displayed include applicable taxes.

Why is there a minimum requirement?

As a mobile service provider based in Coldstream, BC on Watson Drive, my minimum service fee varies depending on the travel distance required. The further the location, the higher the minimum charge will be.
